Château du Haut-Pezaud

I took over this vineyard property on March 1st, 2024.

Historically, part of it was in the hands of members of my family. Then it was later bought by Christine Borgers, who learned the winemaking trade and made this estate prosper.

It is therefore with a certain pride that I embarked on this big "challenge" of being able to re-acquire this vineyard again, produce my own wines, and make this small family property prosper and evolve.

At the head of almost 11 hectares in production, I dedicate myself to producing wines from the different appellations of Bergerac and Monbazillac mainly.

I am an oenologist, former cellar master, and also supported by my partner, who is in charge of vine cultivation in a wine estate in the region.

My journey

Passionate about vines and wine, I immediately embarked on professional studies in viticulture and oenology, culminating in my final oenology degree.

I initially had several professional experiences in the wine industry, including a position as cellar master which I held for about ten years in the region as well.

Christine Borgers, a neighbor as passionate as I am, told me of her intention to sell the property. Knowing that it had belonged to my ancestors, the opportunity to settle there and reconnect with my roots was something I considered and then decided to do—something I couldn't pass up.
