El Clavel - Ginebra Carnation

In 2016, after a meticulous search and selection process, we added CARNATION gin to our Premium Range. A London Dry gin, obtained through traditional distillation: clear, medium-bodied, smooth and silky on the palate, with a harmonious balance between the alcohol and botanicals, and prominent aromas of Andalusian citrus. We found the base alcohol that meets our principles: distilled from whole wheat, natural and non-GMO, it is produced in France using water from the Alps.

It is distilled in the dreamlike Granada, near Sierra Nevada, which gives us a subsequent double distillation (London system) with juniper berries.

This spirit is sent to our distillery with a high alcohol content, we macerate it with our botanicals: coriander, angelica root, tea infusion and orange and lemon peel, and adding Cazalla water until we obtain 40º Volume.

PEÑÍN GUIDE score : 93. Clear color. On the nose, it stands out for its elegance and subtlety, with well-balanced notes of juniper, citrus, and a hint of coriander. On the palate, it is flavorful, smooth, and without any warmth or alcoholic note. For cocktails, it is preferable to use neutral, mild tonics without any other garnishes, as this will allow the subtlety of the gin to shine through.
